Children's Church Program

CCN offers many opportunities for children to grow in the Christian faith. Here are some of the areas:

Sunday School: Age appropriate classes begin each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.

Children’s Church: Elementary children meet for worship each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the Children’s area of the Fellowship Hall. Our current lessons are “Grow Up in Jesus”. The 1st & 2nd Sunday of each month focuses on this curriculum. The 3rd Sunday of each month Ms Melinda Lummus brings the children a mission lesson complete with games and crafts. The 4th Sunday of the month, children sit with their parents in the sanctuary for a time of Family Worship.

Preschool Church: This group meets every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in room 103 with Ms Donna Marchant and her helper Nicole Davis. There is always something fun going on in this class!

Caravan: This is a scouting type program which includes children ages 4 to 12 yrs. This group meets every Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Contact Ms Sandy at the church office if you would like more information.

Bible Quizzing: Bible quizzers meet each Sunday at 5:00 p.m. The children learn lots of Bible verses and compete in Quiz Meets through out the year.

A character-building program for children, based on Luke 2:52 "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." (NIV)
A visitor-friendly, kids-club type of ministry designed primarily for mid-week services at the local church level.
A fun, Bible-based environment, where kids learn practical skills in the areas of spiritual growth and Christian discipleship.
Ministry projects are a major emphasis in Caravan. Kids are taught how to use their talents and gifts to serve God.
Skill badges can be earned in four separate categories: Mental (wisdom), Physical (stature), Spiritual (favor with God), and Social (favor with people).
Benson Buddies is the program for our toddlers,pre-K and Kindergarten classes.
