Jill Banas

Jill has been a member of Carrollton Church of the Nazarene since she was a small child. She spent nearly 15 years working in medical and clinical research as a senior clinical scientist until she felt God calling her to join the CNaz staff in 2012!  Over the years, she has helped serve in Youth, Children’s, and Women’s ministry!

Karen Hall
Children's Ministries &
Quizzing Director

Karen has been a member of CNaz for nearly three decades! She now oversees our children’s quizzing team and serves as a director for children’s ministries. As a preacher’s kid, Karen knows firsthand how important it is to teach kids from a very early age the deepest and purest love of Jesus Christ!

Charlie Lummus
Chaplain

Charlie has a comprehensive understanding of the Bible sharpened through years of intentional study. He utilizes this gift by leading Sunday Evening Services. He also serves as a Volunteer Chaplain at Lew Sterett Dallas County Jail and the Dallas-Ft. Worth Veteran’s National Cemetery, and actively supports the Salvation Army ministry.

Sean O'Connor
Lead Pastor

Pastor Sean has committed his life to ministry through pastoring, teaching and coaching. Through more than 25 years of dedicated ministry in pastoral and school leadership, Pastor Sean has had the privilege of seeing Christ work in the hearts and minds of students, players, parents, and entire families.

Teri O'Connor
Worship Leader

Teri serves as our Worship Leader here at CNaz. During the week Teri is a CFRE, a development professional for non-profits, and an accomplished songwriter.  On Sundays, she shows a deep desire to equip and encourage the body of believers to seek and serve the Lord in all aspects of life.

Joel Wilson
Youth Pastor

Pastor Joel answered his call to ministry in August 2016. He is married to his lovely wife, Cynthia, who works at Baylor University Medical Center as a registered nurse. God has graciously given them three children: Timothy, Titus, and Theo. In April 2022, Joel completed his Masters of Divinity at Nazarene Theological Seminary. Utilizing the gifts and abilities bestowed upon him by God, Joel is dedicated to unveiling the authentic identity through the teachings of Jesus in the hearts and minds of young individuals. His overarching mission is to guide them towards embodying the principles and values exemplified by Jesus.
